STUDIO POLICIES
Thank you for choosing The Alignist. We are truly honored to support your movement journey with strength, grace, and alignment. Please review the following policies in connection with participation in any of our offerings. GENERAL
Please arrive on time so you can fully benefit from the warm-up and preparation. Grip socks are strongly suggested. Please avoid body oils or lotions before class. Water and a towel are recommended. A change of clothes if needed.BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS
- All sessions are 55 minutes, unless otherwise noted
- Cancellations within 12 hours or no-shows are charged in full.
- Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Packages expire as listed.
LATE ARRIVALS
Group Classes: Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late will not be admitted as warm-up and preparation are important for safety, and will be considered a no-show and will be charged in full.
Private Sessions: Clients arriving 15 or more minutes late will not be admitted and will be considered a no-show and will be charged in full.
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT AND INFORMED CONSENT
- The Alignist LLC provides in-person and virtual instruction in Pilates and other movement practices. Participation carries inherent risks including muscle strains or joint injuries. The client agrees to participate with awareness and responsibility.
- The client affirms they are physically able to exercise. If under medical care, they confirm having received clearance. Health changes must be disclosed If pregnant or recently post partum, written clearance is required.
- The instructor reserves the right to deny participation based on client safety or cooperation. Clients waive claims for injury, loss or damage incurred during participation.
- Equipment must be used responsibly. Any malfunction should be reported. The Alignist LLC is not liable for misuse or unreported issues.
- Clients agree not to attend sessions if experiencing symptoms of contagious illness. Shared space risks are acknowledged.
- This waiver excludes gross negligence. Electronic signatures are legally binding. Images or videos may be used for promotional purposes unless opted out in writing. This agreement is governed by Maryland.
